Computer Monitoring

Cheaters Kenya provides a software application that records all keystrokes, websites visited, chat sessions and emails.

The program runs as a stealth application which means it runs undetected. There are no icons, and no other visible signs of the application on the PC.

The application will record the user’s activity which will allow you to view all the activities that have taken place on that computer.

There are various reasons for wanting to monitor a computer’s activities.
If you are a company wanting to monitor your staff, then you will require a warrant or will need to advise the staff member that their computer is being monitored. Please view the Workplace Surveillance Act here.

We have provided Section 10 of the Surveillance Act which states that you can not use a surveillance data device unless you are the owner/occupier of the premises or you have lawful possession or lawful control of the computer or computer network.

The Surveillance Act – Section 10
10 Prohibition on installation, use and maintenance of data surveillance devices

(1) A person must not knowingly install, use or maintain a data surveillance device on or in premises to record or monitor the input of information into, or the output of information from, a computer on the premises if the installation, use or maintenance of the device involves:

(a) entry onto or into the premises without the express or implied consent of the owner or occupier of the premises, or

(b) interference with the computer or a computer network on the premises without the express or implied consent of the person having lawful possession or lawful control of the computer or computer network.
